7 Best Zoho Forms Alternatives [2026 Reviews]

Thinking about switching from Zoho Forms to another form builder? This guide walks you through the seven best Zoho Forms alternatives on the market today.

Zoho Forms offers affordable pricing plans that allow you to build an unlimited number of beautiful forms.

However, after speaking to several Zoho Forms users, we found that the platform does suffer from a few limitations:

  • The free plan is capped at 3 forms and 1 user, so it runs out quickly for a small team
  • It’s built around the Zoho suite, so it works best if you already use Zoho CRM, Campaigns and Sign
  • Direct third-party integrations are thin; beyond Google Sheets, Excel, Teams and WordPress, most connections go through Zapier

So, in this guide, we walk you through seven Zoho Forms alternatives that solve these pain points, starting with our own solution, FormBuilder. We then discuss other solutions on the market that you may want to consider: Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, SurveyMonkey, WPForms, Sogolytics, and EmailMeForm.

Who are we: We are FormBuilder and we aim to fix what we believe is wrong with the form building industry. Specifically, we found that most form builders make you choose between a tool that is simple and a tool that is capable, and that pricing gets complicated as soon as you grow. So we built a form builder that gives you an AI generator, real form analytics, a free plan that doesn’t need a credit card, and one flat Pro price. If you’d like to give FormBuilder a shot, you can sign up for a free plan here.

1. Best AI features: FormBuilder

Here’s how we solve the Zoho Forms limitations mentioned above:

  • You can use AI to build personalized forms within seconds
  • You can see where your form is losing people
  • You get a free plan that covers 5 forms, and one flat Pro price
  • You can connect to over 100 third-party applications

You can use AI to build personalized forms within seconds

Zoho Forms has its own AI generator, so this is one area where the two tools are closer than they used to be.

FormBuilder’s AI form generator ensures that you don't have to create forms from scratch. All you have to do is describe the form you need in a sentence or two, and you’ll get a draft customized around your description that you can then adjust in the drag-and-drop builder. You can also start from a template, or import an existing form from a PDF, a URL, Jotform or Typeform.

This draft won't be perfect, and you'll have to make tweaks, but it's a much better starting point than a generic template.

You can see where your form is losing people

With most form builders, the interface will give you your submissions and not much else, so it’s hard to tell whether a quiet form has a traffic problem or a form problem.

FormBuilder tracks views, starts, completions and completion rate for every form.

For example, if a payment form has lots of views but few completions, respondents may not be ready to buy on the first visit, and a shorter enquiry form with a follow-up might convert better. Or, if a long application form loses people partway, splitting it into pages with a progress bar and using conditional logic to hide irrelevant questions usually helps. FormBuilder doesn’t make those calls for you, but it gives you the numbers to make them.

You get a free plan that covers 5 forms, and one flat Pro price

Zoho Forms’ free plan allows 3 forms, 500 submissions a month and a single user. Paid plans run from Basic at $12 per month (1 user) up to Premium at $110 per month, and HIPAA compliance is only on Premium. Prices checked September 2026.

FormBuilder’s free plan includes 5 active forms and 100 responses per month, with no credit card required. Pro is $39 per month with a 14-day free trial and covers 100 active forms and 10,000 responses per month, removes the FormBuilder badge, and adds custom branding, custom domains, and teams with folders and roles. A HIPAA plan is available on request at $99 per month. Full details are on our pricing page.

You can connect to over 100 third-party applications

Another problem we encountered when using Zoho Forms is the limited direct integrations. Zoho Forms mainly integrates with other Zoho applications, such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Sheet, and Zoho Sign. It also connects directly to a handful of outside applications like Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and WordPress, and relies on Zapier for the rest.

FormBuilder syncs responses to Google Sheets natively and sends them to any URL with webhooks. Through our Zapier integration you can connect to over 100 applications, including Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Trello, Shopify, Zoom, Calendly and more, and have FormBuilder automatically send data to whichever tools you already use. You can also work with your forms from AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT through our MCP integration.

2. Best free Zoho alternative: Google Forms

If you're looking for a free form builder that still offers good features such as customizable templates, conditional logic, and integrations, then Google Forms is a good Zoho Forms alternative.

When you log into your Google Forms dashboard, you'll be greeted with a simple interface containing several templates for forms like contact forms, customer feedback forms, and surveys forms. You can then add question fields and sections, and use “Go to section based on answer” for simple branching. On eligible Google Workspace and Google AI plans, a Gemini “Help me create” option will draft the form from a description.

There's no paid Google Forms plan as such; extra features like Gemini come with a Google Workspace subscription.

But keep in mind that Google Forms has a few significant limitations. For example, you can't collect signatures or payments, and the conditional logic is very basic. If these are drawbacks to you, consider FormBuilder.

3. Best Zoho Forms alternative for Microsoft users: Microsoft Forms

If you're already using Microsoft 365 and don't feel like signing up for another tool, you'll be glad to know there's a form builder inside Microsoft 365 called Microsoft Forms.

Microsoft Forms is more advanced than Google Forms as it offers more form templates as well as Copilot, an AI that'll help you build a form from scratch. All you have to do is tell Copilot what type of form you want to build, and it will draft one within seconds. Copilot in Forms requires a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence.

From here, you can tweak your form by adding and removing certain fields, such as question fields, open fields, Likert scale fields, and branching.

Once you're happy with your form, you can use Microsoft Forms' integrations to connect it with Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.

However, it's important to remember that Microsoft Forms doesn't have its own Zapier app, so connecting it to tools outside Microsoft 365 usually means building a flow in Power Automate.

4. Best Zoho Forms alternative for surveys: SurveyMonkey

SurveyMonkey is for you if you mainly create surveys and are looking for a form builder specializing in surveys.

You can choose between over 400 survey templates, including employee exit surveys, customer satisfaction surveys, and employee satisfaction surveys. Once you've collected data from respondents, you can use various graphs, such as bar graphs, pie charts, and pictographs, to better understand your survey data and communicate survey results to managers and colleagues.

With this data on hand, you can compare the results you're getting to industry benchmarks, identify where you need to improve, and focus on these initiatives.

5. Best Zoho Forms alternative for WordPress users: WPForms

If you're hosting a website on WordPress and you're mainly looking for a form builder that can easily embed forms on WordPress, consider WPForms.

You can find this form builder inside your WordPress plugins dashboard, and once installed, you can create a contact form, survey form, newsletter form, payment form, and more! There’s a free Lite version, and paid plans start at $39.60 for the first year (renewing at $99), with payments and most integrations on the Pro tier.

Creating a form is quite simple: All you have to do is choose a template, drag and drop a couple of blocks onto your form, and add your questions. But WPForms’ true strength is embedding forms on your WordPress website. The form embedding process is really easy because everything is inside your WordPress dashboard; you don't have to sign up for a separate form builder.

6. Best Zoho Forms alternative for multilingual surveys: Sogolytics

If you're creating forms in various languages, maybe because your customers and employees live in different countries or you have a bilingual website, Sogolytics (formerly SoGoSurvey) is your best bet. When creating a survey inside Sogolytics, you pick the languages you want to offer and the platform builds the translated versions; automatic translation covers 28 languages, and respondents choose their language from a single link.

Sogolytics itself notes that automatic translations aren’t guaranteed to be accurate, so plan on a native speaker checking anything customer-facing.

Apart from its translation features, Sogolytics is like your typical survey builder. It has a large library of survey templates, and you can set up conditional logic rules, which help tailor your survey to a respondent's answers. Plans differ by response and email limits rather than features.

7. Best Zoho Forms alternative for collecting sensitive information: EmailMeForm

If you're in a heavily regulated industry like legal or healthcare and have to abide by government regulations like GDPR and HIPAA when collecting user information, opt for EmailMeForm. This form builder complies with most government regulations, so you can use it to collect sensitive user information, be it patient health records or client financial records. Plans start at $30 per month, and HIPAA compliance with a signed BAA is included from the Experienced plan ($50 per month) upward.

It's also worth mentioning that major organizations like Harvard, Starbucks, NASA, and the American Red Cross are listed among EmailMeForm’s customers.

Once you've collected sensitive user information, you can set up secure workflows to push it into your CRM, CMS, or internal messaging tool.
