Google Sheets integration
Google Sheets uses Google OAuth. After connecting, choose a spreadsheet and sheet tab from your Google account.
Workflow
Steps
- 1Open Integrations from the form builder.
- 2Connect your Google account.
- 3Choose a spreadsheet.
- 4Choose a sheet tab.
- 5Save the integration and submit a test response.
Google data access and privacy
FormBuilder requests Google Sheets access only after you click Connect Google Sheets and complete Google OAuth.
The integration uses Drive metadata access to list spreadsheets and uses Sheets access to list sheet tabs so you can choose a destination, then appends submitted form responses to the selected sheet.
FormBuilder stores the selected spreadsheet/sheet configuration and encrypted OAuth tokens needed to keep the integration connected.
FormBuilder does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Disconnect Google Sheets
Open the Google Sheets integration panel and choose Disconnect to remove the stored Google OAuth token and stop future response syncs.
You can also revoke FormBuilder access from your Google Account security settings.
Troubleshooting
- Reconnect Google if the OAuth token expires or is revoked.
- Make sure the Google account has access to the spreadsheet.
- Submit a test response after changing spreadsheet settings.
