Fix an interrupted agent workflow

Check the returned error before retrying. A timeout and a revision conflict require different recovery steps.

Contact support about this article

A request timed out

Retry with exactly the same request_id and input. The server returns the recorded result instead of repeating a completed operation. A replay describes the original outcome; inspect the current form before making another change.

The form changed

REVISION_CONFLICT or WRITE_CONFLICT means no requested change was saved. Read the form again, review the changes made by the owner or another agent, then use a new request_id and the current revision. Do not blindly overwrite.

A permission is missing

Reconnect with the required OAuth grants or create a new agent key. Existing credentials do not silently gain forms:create, forms:edit or forms:publish. Missing grants return 403; expired or revoked credentials return 401.

The form is published

Agent editing requires a private draft. Ask to unpublish only if you intend to stop public submissions. You can also make appropriate changes directly in the builder.

Publication is blocked

PUBLISH_BLOCKED means the form or account did not pass the normal publication checks. Open the builder to inspect its state. Repeated attempts do not bypass review.

Responses are missing

Response queries return bounded pages and a has_more indicator. Check date and field filters, request further pages and confirm the connection has responses:read. Locked or incomplete payment responses are not exposed; an empty page is not evidence that no submissions exist.
