Field types in the builder

Available fields

• 16 field types are available in the builder.
• Available fields: Short Text, Long Text, Email, Number, Phone, Date, File Upload, Dropdown, Radio Button, Checkbox, Calculation, Signature, Star Rating, Range Slider, Address, and Full Name.
• Use dropdown, radio, or checkbox fields when respondents must choose from a controlled list.
• Use file upload for documents, images, and attachments you need to review later.
• Use signature for typed or captured signature workflows.
• Use calculation only when the formula has been tested in preview.

Required fields

Make a field required only when the answer is truly needed. Shorter forms tend to complete better.
