Why FormBuilder
Draft the contact details, order choices or registration questions and review them before signup. Connect your own eligible Stripe account and complete any required verification. Settings → Payments must show Ready to accept payments before you share the form.
The integration adds no FormBuilder platform fee. Stripe processing fees still apply and vary by account, country and payment method. A zero platform fee does not mean free payment processing.
Decide what the customer is paying for and check the configured amount and currency. A submitted form or return from checkout is not proof of payment; the response must show a confirmed payment status.
Before taking payments
Compare the full payment workflow, not just whether a feature list says “Stripe.” Each FormBuilder owner must connect an eligible Stripe account with charges enabled.

Collect the customer’s name, email, requested service and preferred date. Explain whether the date is confirmed or only requested.
Tell the customer the charge is $50 and explain your cancellation and refund terms before checkout.
The FormBuilder platform fee is $0. Your net proceeds are $50 minus the Stripe fees that apply to your account and payment method.
After connecting a Stripe account with charges enabled, verify the checkout amount and a confirmed payment status before treating the deposit as paid.
